Jesus is God!
God loves us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to die in our place. What we know about the Father, we understand because of Jesus.
The Son of God shall be called everlasting Father. That verse is a co title with God. That does not mean Jesus is the Father. It means Jesus is the Father of eternity. The Father begot Jesus. Jesus begot us into eternity. So Jesus has been handed and shares all the titles and authority of God the Father. All judgment has been given to Him. I am sensitive to the fact that people try to explain away this verse. It says what it says. Even trinitarian church fathers did not change this language in translation. It’s not confusing, but it’s also not super simple from our human perspectives. Today we honor the only human body of God to ever exist. He is alive. He is the Father of eternity. The eternal/ everlasting Father.
The people who convened over the council of Nicea, which it was an emperor Constantine who called this council, brought forth the trinitarian doctrine we know today. The entire point of the council of Nicea was to pronounce Jesus equally as God to the Father. People were trying to place Jesus “less than God”. I attest that is still happening today! By people who don’t fully understand He is God. Jesus is not God’s mini me. He is the Son of the Father. He is co-equal as God. Make no mistake Jesus is the everlasting Father! Jesus is God!
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”
