The five days
Day 1 · Launch Day
God made everything, including me.
Bible story: God Made Everything (Genesis 1:1–2:3)
Apply it: God spoke, and the sun, moon and stars came to be. The same God who made galaxies made you, on purpose and in His image. That means you matter, and so does every person you meet. When you feel small, remember who made you. When someone else feels small, treat them like the treasure God made.
Day 2 · Star Count Station
God’s promises are bigger than the sky.
Bible story: Count the Stars (Genesis 15:1–6)
Apply it: Abram was old and had no children, but God said, “So shall thy seed be,” and Abram believed. Faith is trusting what God says even before you see it. God’s promises to us are just as sure: He is with you, He hears you, He forgives you. When waiting is hard, look up and remember: the God who holds the stars in place keeps His word.
Day 3 · Star Navigation
God leads me to Jesus.
Bible story: Wise Men Follow the Star (Matthew 2:1–12)
Apply it: The wise men traveled a long way, and when they found Jesus, they fell down, worshipped Him and gave their best gifts. God still leads people to Jesus: through His Word, through His people and even through the sky He made. And when we find Him, the right response is worship. What would it look like to bring Jesus your best this week?
Day 4 · Rescue Mission
Jesus came to rescue me and rose again.
Bible story: The Crucifixion and Resurrection Story (Matthew 26–28 · Mark 14–16 · Luke 22–24 · John 18–20)
Apply it: We couldn’t get to God on our own. Our sin left us far away, like an astronaut drifting in space. So God sent Jesus to rescue us. He died on the cross to pay for our sins and rose again on the third day. Everyone who trusts Him is brought safely home to God. Have you been rescued? Who could you tell?
Day 5 · Return Mission
Jesus is coming back, so I tell everyone.
Bible story: Jesus Ascends to Heaven (Acts 1:1–11 · Luke 24:50–53 · Mark 16:19)
Apply it: Before Jesus went up into the clouds, He gave His friends a mission: “Ye shall be witnesses unto me.” Then the angels said He will come again the same way. While we wait, we have a job: live for Jesus and tell others about Him. Every person you meet will live forever somewhere. Who will you tell?
